Over the past five years, Luxon has worked closely with key industry stakeholders to build more than just a measurement tool, we’ve built a solution to the long-standing lack of a real-time traffic data in both traditional and digital OOH (DOOH) markets. Our end-to-end, locally designed and manufactured system offers a powerful and cost-effective alternative to conventional traffic estimation methods.

Using our proprietary camera technology, each device captures high-resolution video footage of vehicles passing a billboard site. This footage is processed in real-time through our onboard computing system, which runs custom-developed software and AI-driven object detection models.

The resulting data is securely transferred to our Azure-based cloud platform, categorized by vehicle type, and made available on a fully customizable, white-labelled dashboard for our clients. Our portals are protected with two-factor authentication (2FA), ensuring a highly secure and private data environment.

Beyond real-time counts, we provide hourly traffic breakdowns, an essential feature for DOOH networks operating on rotating slot-based schedules. Hourly data allows agencies and brands to precisely calculate ROI at the slot, day, or campaign level, making media buying and performance evaluation more transparent and actionable.

This granularity is transforming OOH advertising from a traditional broadcast medium into a data-rich, targeted channel.
